I have to translate the editor in Italian, (I was left alone ) but when I open it gives me error that can not find the txt files (shoe.txt, faceid.txt, etc), I tried with fifa manager 14, and not from error, while if I move the text DatabaseEditor.txt from 18 in the folder of 14, gives me the same error, then I deduce that in the lines of text there is something that I have to change but I do not understand what it is, thanks I am attaching photos

Double backslashes in the path name are strange. You throw the editor of the 18 from the root, and in administrator mode ?

As it is, it can't work, there are several files missing. It can go with hacking but too long to explain and if we don't offer this version is that there are reasons... There are Italians who walk around the Forum and have changed things to make it work so, I let them see that with you.

In realtà io vorrei semplicemente usare il gioco originale (FM14) caricando però il db editato da LFP e giocando a partire dal 1/7/17.
Se mi dài una mano, mi impegno ad aiutarti con la traduzione.....conosco benissimo la lingua inglese.

It means that you have to play in English or French but not in Italian

ma la DIR ita non esiste

Yes, the directory doesn't exist because as I said, there is no Italian version ...

You must cheat by making a copy of the existing directory for the English version for example ("eng"), and renaming it "ita ".

allora fai questa prova, copia per sicurezza la cartella database, la sostituisci con quella che vuoi e poi apri il database e fai scrivi con il tasto in basso, comunque la versione del loro FM18 la sto usando anche io per la mia traduzione ( un 14 modificato alla fine) per cui sia che il 14-18 vanno bene ma devi editare il file local ini in questo modo

il mio file translation.huf (ancora in versione di prova sono la sola che lo traduce) lo devi mettere e sostituire nella cartella eng in fmdata, se poi scarichi anche l'audio (che sarebbe dal fm10 con fabio caressa e beppe bergormi e se editi la riga AVAILABLE_LANGS=eng,spa,ger,fre,ita,pol potrai sentire la telecronaca nel gioco, fammi sapere se non capisci o lascia un commento nel blog
